      On July 27, 2026, at 10:46 Culture and Recreation The administration of the municipal district of Chkalovsk has ordered the development of project and estimate documentation for the improvement of the historical part of the city. This concerns the organization of a pedestrian tourist route along Chkalov Street. The basis for the work is the state program of the Nizhny Novgorod region "Formation of a modern urban environment." The total area for design is 0.84 hectares. According to the technical specifications, the route is divided into two sections: the first runs from Lenin Street to Panovsky Garden, and the second from Chernyshevsky Street to the same garden. The project boundaries include the roadway of Chkalov Street. The documentation will be developed based on the previously created design project by the ANO "Institute for the Development of Urban Environment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." The contractor will need to prepare solutions for the vertical planning of the territory, drainage of melt and rainwater, as well as develop projects for outdoor lighting and video surveillance. Special attention in the documents is given to landscaping: it is necessary to create schemes for flower beds, a tree planting plan considering winter hardiness and soil, as well as provide for the installation of tree pit grids. The initial price of the contract is 1.1 million rubles. The work on the development of documentation must be completed by October 16, 2026. The contract execution deadline is November 23. The project and estimate documentation must be coordinated with the authors of the design project, utility owners, and the GBU NO "Nizhny Novgorod Smeta."
