Last week, a truck attempted to pass under the staircase but did not fit and damaged it. Such incidents occur regularly. As we were informed by the regional government's affairs department, decorative repairs to the arch are scheduled to begin on August 31. During the work, a detour around the arch will be organized in accordance with the traffic organization project developed by the Center for Traffic Management. The extent of the damage caused has not yet been determined. We remind you that the authorities attempted to solve the problem of trucks passing through the arch with the help of warning road signs.
