The forecaster reported what the weather will be like in Nizhny Novgorod until the end of July.

      July 21, 2026 14:01 Society In the coming days, warm weather and elevated air temperatures will persist in the Nizhny Novgorod region. However, starting from July 22, the region is expected to experience rain, and by the end of the week, it will become a bit cooler. This was reported by Olga Mokeeva, head of the meteorological forecasts department of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Upper Volga Hydrometeorological Center."

      "Currently, there is no front; hot weather is prevailing over our areas. The maximum temperature will be 25−30 degrees," the forecaster explained.

      Tomorrow, troughs of cyclones will begin to approach the Nizhny Novgorod region from the west, bringing cloudiness and precipitation. At the same time, forecasters do not expect a sharp drop in temperature. The current temperature background remains 1−3 degrees above the climatic norm. By the end of the week, the temperature will decrease slightly, with daytime values below +25 degrees.

      "Nevertheless, this temperature will still be close to the norm due to high nighttime temperatures. There will be cloudiness, and therefore, on average, the temperature will be close to the norm," Mokeeva noted.

      The forecaster added that the preliminary forecast for the end of July does not show significant deviations in temperature regime and precipitation amounts.

      "So far, according to the preliminary forecast, both the temperature regime and the precipitation regime are close to the norm. We will survive these last 10 days of July — and then we will see," concluded Olga Mokeeva.
