However, it is not advisable to rely solely on the size of the old leaf: the frame may have been installed with wide gaps, and the opening itself may have been altered during previous renovations.

      Approximate dimensions for the height of the opening and wall thickness:

      - For a door width of 600 mm, an opening of about 680-700 mm is needed;

      - For a leaf width of 700 mm - about 780-800 mm;

      - For a door width of 800 mm - approximately 880-900 mm.

      These are average values. The exact dimensions depend on the design of the frame, its thickness, and the installation gaps provided by the manufacturer. Therefore, it is better to choose the door after precise measurements and checking the technical specifications of the specific model.

An excessively wide opening can be narrowed, and a minor difference can be compensated with the frame and installation gaps. If the dimensions differ significantly, it is wiser to order a non-standard leaf than to redo the wall.

      The thickness of the wall is measured separately. If the frame does not completely cover it, the remaining part is closed with additional elements. For the bathroom, it is better to choose additional elements and trims with the same moisture-resistant coating as the leaf, as these elements are also exposed to humid air.

      The correct door size is determined only after a full measurement.
