A Nizhny Novgorod resident swore at police officers at a gas station for being served out of turn and received a fine.

      On July 21, 2026, at 13:25, Society A resident of Kulebaki was fined 700 rubles for swearing at police officers at a gas station. The decision was made by the city court. The man was at the gas station when a police service vehicle cut in line at the pump. He began to use coarse profanity towards the officers. Initially, he expressed himself from his car, then got out and continued to curse on the street. The police took him to the station to draw up a report under part 1 of article 20.1 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation - "petty hooliganism." In court, the man admitted his guilt, confirmed the circumstances outlined in the report, expressed remorse, and requested a fine. He also apologized to the police officers. The court took into account the mitigating circumstances - the admission of guilt and remorse. However, an aggravating factor was that the man had previously been held accountable under the same article. As a result, the court found him guilty and imposed an administrative fine.
