Three citizens of India were expelled from the Nizhny Novgorod region beyond the borders of the Russian Federation. Court bailiffs for ensuring the established order of court activities of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in accordance with a court decision, escorted the migrants to the checkpoint at the state border of the Russian Federation.
The basis for the expulsion was the court rulings issued under part 1 of Article 18.8 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation "Violation by a foreign citizen or a stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation." The citizens lacked documents confirming their right to temporarily reside and work in our country.
The illegal migrants awaited their expulsion at the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens. After the necessary documents were processed, the bailiffs for ensuring the established order of court activities delivered them to the checkpoint at the state border of the Russian Federation and officially handed them over to the border service officers of the FSB of Russia. Now, for the violators, entry into our country is closed for the next five years.
Let us remind you that in the first six months of 2026, the bailiffs of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region expelled 1,035 illegal migrants. Most of them are natives of the Near Abroad: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, as well as citizens of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
