Due to the final of the World Cup in football, the residents of Nizhny Novgorod have had their television broadcasting shutdown rescheduled to July 21.

      The planned shutdown of terrestrial television and radio broadcasting in the Nizhny Novgorod region has been postponed from July 20 to July 21. This was reported by the Nizhny Novgorod regional radio and television transmitting center. The postponement is related to the final match of the World Cup, the broadcast of which may be extended until late at night on July 20 due to possible extra time. According to the RTRS branch, on July 21 from 01:00 to 10:00 Moscow time, broadcasting of 20 television channels and three radio channels of digital terrestrial television, several FM radio stations, and analog television channels may be suspended at radio and television stations in Nizhny Novgorod, Arzamas, Sarov, and Vyksa. After the resumption of broadcasting, viewers whose signal reception has not been restored automatically are advised to restart their receiving equipment and perform a channel search again.
