Nizhny Novgorod residents were reminded how to get a refund for part of the money spent on a children's camp.

      July 16, 2026 08:00 Society Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region were reminded of the possibility to compensate part of the expenses for children's recreation. This was reported in his Max channel by the speaker of the regional Legislative Assembly, Evgeny Lyulin. According to him, not all parents know that when sending a child to a summer camp, they can get back part of the money spent. Legislation allows for a tax deduction if the camp has a license for educational activities. Compensation is also possible in other cases. If the child participated in sports training camps, money can be refunded provided that the organizer is included in the Ministry of Sports registry. "And if there was a voucher to a sanatorium with medical services, part of the expenses can be included in the tax deduction for treatment," Evgeny Lyulin said. According to him, the deduction can be processed through the employer, through the tax office, or in a simplified manner - in the personal account on the FNS website.
