      On July 15, 2026, at 17:58 Society A landslide occurred in Novinki because the slope became saturated with water after an abnormally snowy winter and torrential rains. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the Novinsky rural council, commenting on the incident. Specialists went to the site and recorded landslide processes in the area of Beregovaya Street. Since June 19, a state of increased readiness has been introduced in the territory of a private house. Two of its residents temporarily moved to a maneuverable fund. The situation with the landslide is under daily control, the rural council added. No ground movement has been observed.
