Nizhny Novgorod residents were warned about disruptions in the payment for paid parking.

      On July 14, 2026, at 16:47, the Nizhny Novgorod Motorists' Society warned about possible problems with paying for paid parking when a threat of drone attack or missile danger is announced. This was reported by the "Parking Nizhny Novgorod" community on VK.

      During such periods, there may be disruptions in GPS navigation within the paid parking zone. As a result, mobile services may incorrectly determine the user's location.

      Consequently, a driver may mistakenly choose a different parking zone and incorrectly pay for parking through the "RuParking" app or the parkovkinn.ru portal.

      Drivers are advised to top up their parking account in advance. If geolocation is not working correctly, the parking spot can be specified manually in the app or on the portal map.

      Before making a payment, it is also advisable to check the parking zone number on the information sign located on the side of the street where the car is parked.

      If the parking fee was still paid incorrectly, the data can be corrected until the end of the current day.
