      Activists of the regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" visited the Great Patriotic War veteran Isaac Zakharovich Yasinovsky to congratulate him on his 98th birthday. On his birthday, the defender of the Fatherland and eyewitness of the defense of Stalingrad also received a congratulatory telegram from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. "Your generation has faced great trials and historical triumphs. You and your comrades have always served the Fatherland honestly, believed in the just cause, and through your military feats and selfless labor, you have built a great power. Your life path, love for the Motherland, and involvement in its fate are a worthy example for the youth, for all of us. I wish you good health and all the best," the congratulation reads. During the war, young Isaac worked at an artillery arsenal, where he, together with his father, manufactured shells for the defense of the Motherland. He also worked on a collective farm, sending grain for the needs of the front. Isaac Zakharovich Yasinovsky is a participant in the battles near Stalingrad, awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, the Zhukov Medal, the Medal "For Victory over Germany 1941–1945" and numerous anniversary awards. "What we had to endure with my peers is something you wouldn't wish on anyone. But we were not afraid – from a young age, the word 'Motherland' was the most important in the vocabulary of a Soviet person. And thanks to the volunteers who continue our traditions and preserve the memory of the Great Patriotic War," Isaac Zakharovich Yasinovsky expressed his gratitude. The Volunteers of Victory regularly visit the veteran, showing care and attention. The volunteers congratulate him on holidays, give gifts, and listen with interest to his memories. Isaac Zakharovich is a long-time friend of the movement, a wise mentor, and an example for the younger generation. "It is a great honor and special responsibility for us to be close to such people as Isaac Zakharovich. When you look at this amazing person, you understand what true resilience is: at 13, he made shells for the front, worked until he lost strength, but did not break and carried through his whole life an unyielding will to live. Today we thank him not just as volunteers, but as grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the generation of victors," emphasized the head of the NRO VOD "Volunteers of Victory," Maria Samodelkina.
