The "Masters of the Golden Ring" Festival in Gorodets: what interesting things await guests

      More than 50 events will be included in the program of the folk arts and crafts festival "Masters of the Golden Ring" (0+), which will take place in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region, on July 18 and 19.

      The festival is timed to coincide with the inclusion of Gorodets in the tourist route "Golden Ring" and the 90th anniversary of the "Gorodets Painting" factory. It will be the central event of the City Day celebrations and will bring together masters of folk arts and crafts. The event will be held with the support of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality."

      A two-day program has been prepared for guests, which includes performances by creative groups, a fair of folk arts and crafts, gastronomic venues, and workshops for the whole family.

      On July 18, the official opening of the festival will take place on the Revolution Embankment. Delegations and institutions from the Gorodets district will parade through the streets of the city.

      In the Museum Quarter, guests will be able to experience the atmosphere of merchant Gorodets and visit outdoor photo exhibitions. A Summer Theater will open in Lenin Square, a brass band will perform, and there will also be a children's area with an animation program, face painting, and workshops.

      The festival will also feature a fair of folk arts and crafts, where products from the masters of the "Golden Ring" will be presented and workshops will be held.

      On the main stage, folk groups, folklore ensembles, soloists, and cover bands will perform. The headliner for the first day will be Russian singer Mitya Fomin, who will perform in the evening.

      On July 19, the concert program on the main stage will take place in the first half of the day. Creative groups from the Gorodets district will perform for the audience.

      Artistic creative activities will be held in Vorozheikin Park. In the second half of the day, a color festival will take place in Pioneer Square, and in the evening, Anna Vorontsova will perform a solo concert on the balcony of the "Severny" House of Culture as part of the "Balcony Music" project.

      Admission to all festival events will be free.
