House No. 5 on Shevchenko Street in Nizhny Novgorod, which holds value for the historical and urban environment, was sold at open auctions for 16.3 million rubles. The winner was the company "SZ 'NNDK 4," reported Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov on his Telegram channel.
The building was constructed in 1901. Although it does not have the status of a cultural heritage site, it, along with neighboring houses, forms the historical appearance of the block in the city center. Nearby is the IT campus "NEIMARK," so the development of this area is of particular interest today.
The auction took place on July 10. Three potential investors competed for the right to acquire the property. The starting price was 7.2 million rubles, but during the auction, the price increased more than twice. At the 17th step of the auction, the winner offered 16.3 million rubles. The company noted that they plan to include the historic house in the development of Shevchenko Street. Previously, "SZ 'NNDK 4" had already been involved in the restoration of the Gusev estate on Slavyanskaya Street.
Since the beginning of 2026, the KP NО "Regnedvizhimost" has sold 13 properties of historical value. Information about other buildings for sale is posted on a specialized portal.
