The Ministry of Culture proposed to raise the limit of the Pushkin Card to 7000 rubles.

      On July 8, 2026, at 12:26 Culture and Recreation The Ministry of Culture of Russia proposed to increase the nominal value of the Pushkin Card from 5,000 to 7,000 rubles. A draft of the corresponding resolution has been posted on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

      The document also envisions expanding the program's capabilities. In particular, Pushkin Card holders are expected to be allowed to pay for visits to state circuses. At the same time, no more than two thousand rubles from the total annual limit can be allocated for purchasing circus tickets. The changes may come into effect as early as September 1.

      Let us remind you that the "Pushkin Card" program has been in operation since September 2021. Since January 1, 2022, its annual nominal value is 5,000 rubles. The money can be spent on visiting theaters, museums, cinemas, and other cultural institutions. The card can be issued to Russian citizens aged 14 to 22 inclusive.
