Shpilevsky accused the goalkeeper of "Pari NN" of hypocrisy after swearing at the fans.

Former head coach of "Pari NN" Alexey Shpilevsky commented for the first time on the sharp statements made by goalkeeper Nikita Medvedev, which were voiced after the specialist left the Nizhny Novgorod club. According to Shpilevsky, he always had a good relationship with the goalkeeper, and Medvedev himself was one of the leaders of the team. At the same time, the former coach admitted that he did not understand the player's words.

"This question is better asked of him. Perhaps this is some kind of duplicity. When a person says one thing to your face, and then behaves like this a week and a half later...", Shpilevsky stated in an interview with "Sportsu".

He noted that he had not communicated with Medvedev after what happened and that after leaving the club, he reconsidered his attitude towards him.

"When I was his coach, I tried to be like an older brother, supporting him in difficult situations. But I am no longer Nikita's coach. He is one of those I coached, I am one of those under whose guidance he played," Shpilevsky said.

Recall that a loud incident occurred on May 11 during a home match against CSKA, which ended with the hosts losing 1:2. The reason for the outburst of anger was the banners of the fans displayed in the stands in support of Shpilevsky, who had left his post, with the slogan "Our coach! We are with you." After the second conceded goal, Medvedev emotionally reacted to the stands. The goalkeeper criticized the fans in obscene terms, stating that it was the former head coach who brought the team to its current position, and suggested that those who support Shpilevsky cheer for him separately.

The verbal spat continued in the mixed zone, where the goalkeeper demonstratively ignored the press. He stated that the club does not need the support of those who organize such actions and advised them to stay home. The situation was reviewed by the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the RFU. Medvedev was summoned to a meeting, as a result of which he was fined but avoided disqualification. Shortly before the decision was made, the goalkeeper publicly apologized to the fans.

It should be noted that Shpilevsky left "Pari NN" three rounds before the end of the championship after his contract was terminated due to the team's unsatisfactory results. Along with him, four assistants left the club, and Vadim Garanin was appointed as the new head coach. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
