Two flights were canceled and four were delayed at the Nizhny Novgorod airport on July 7.

      On July 7, 2026, at 09:35, the Nizhny Novgorod airport named after V.P. Chkalov continues to have temporary restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft, the press service of the air harbor reported. According to Rosaviation, the restrictions were introduced at 04:34 on July 7 for the purpose of ensuring flight safety. According to the airport's online scoreboard, two regular flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg have currently been canceled. In addition, flights to Kaliningrad, Minsk, Yekaterinburg, and Moscow will be delayed. Representatives of airlines and airport staff are working with passengers of the delayed flights. Passengers planning to go to the airport are advised to check the flight status in advance on the airline's website or on the "Chkalov" online scoreboard.
