New graduates will receive 225,000 rubles in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On July 7, 2026, at 09:23 Society Graduates who moved to work in the Nizhny Novgorod region will be able to receive a one-time payment of up to 225,000 rubles. This was reported by Governor Gleb Nikitin on his MAX channel. The head of the region stated that the area is expecting graduate students from other regions and is ready to provide them with financial support for employment at local enterprises. According to him, the Ministry of Demography and Human Capital Development of the Nizhny Novgorod region has launched an expanded support program for young specialists. It provides for a "relocation" capital for a comfortable start - the funds can be used for housing rental, relocation, and initial household expenses. According to the governor, young specialists do not need to look for money to start their careers in the region.

      "This is our contribution to solving the problem of staff shortages. We are creating opportunities for youth employment, attracting young families to the region, and simultaneously addressing the staffing needs of our enterprises," noted Gleb Nikitin.

      Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov clarified that to receive the payment, it is necessary to conclude an employment contract for a full-time position for at least two years and have Russian citizenship. Support is available to specialists from 25 regions that are not included in the list of priority regions for attracting labor resources approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.
