      On July 6, 2026, at 19:21, Economy In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the possibility of selling gasoline at gas stations on even and odd days depending on the first digit of the vehicle's state registration number is being considered. This was reported by Governor Gleb Nikitin following the operational headquarters meeting on July 6. It is expected that on even days, vehicles with registration numbers starting with the digits 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 will be able to refuel, while on odd days, cars with numbers starting with 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 will be allowed. According to Nikitin, this mechanism is being considered to reduce queues at gas stations and to distribute the flow of vehicles more evenly. Currently, the decision is in the development stage.
