More than 900 scooter riders' accounts were blocked in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On July 6, 2026, at 14:48, Society More than 900 users of rented individual mobility devices have been blocked since the beginning of the season for violating the terms of service in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from the city department of transport and road management. Additionally, over 400 accounts received warnings and fines for violating the terms of the public offer, including for non-compliance with traffic rules. Under the agreements between the city hall and the scooter-sharing operators, companies are required to move scooters left outside designated parking zones within two hours of receiving a notification. Operators independently transport such IMDs to locations designated by the city authorities. In particular, all scooters left by users outside the permitted zones were moved by the companies within the established two-hour timeframe. No evacuation of IMDs to impound lots was necessary.
