      Experts from the "Minin Center" analyze the events of the past week that influence the socio-political situation in the world, Russia, and the Nizhny Novgorod region, where long-term trends are manifesting.

      Federal topic - The West continues to raise the stakes

      Chairman of the ANO "Minin Center" Alexey Orekhov:

      "In April - June 2026, there was a sharp escalation of military crimes by Kyiv against peaceful residents of Russia, stated the ambassador for special assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rodion Miroshnik.

      Another attempt to reach compromise agreements has predictably failed.

      As is becoming clear today, the summit in Anchorage was used to buy time for rearming Ukraine - producing drones and transitioning to massive airstrikes deep into our territory, just as Istanbul was planned for regrouping and organizing an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Minsk agreements were conceived to prepare the Ukrainian regime for a large war with Russia.

      It seems that Moscow is doing everything possible to avoid a destructive conflict in Europe and is sending one signal after another in a western direction. On the other hand, if we do not respond to challenges and constantly shift "red lines," the opponent will become completely brazen and cross all unimaginable boundaries.

      Therefore, Russia is getting closer to that line beyond which there will be no retreat.

      No one intends to stop on that side; on the contrary, they plan to increase the pace. The infrastructure war is gaining momentum, and Ukraine and its western allies are making it their main bet.

      The West is helping to strike at Russian territory, Americans are providing intelligence data to Ukrainians for strikes on Russian critical infrastructure, increasingly destructive weapons are being supplied from the West in ever greater quantities, the territory of NATO countries, their logistics, military advisors, engineers, and intelligence are being used for attacks on Russia. The problem at this stage of the war in Ukraine is that the opponent can consistently increase the number of drones used against targets on Russian territory without fearing the consequences at all. Because their production has been moved outside Ukraine, and under the current configuration of the conflict, Russia simply cannot reach them.

      On the ground, our Armed Forces are successfully conducting offensive operations in the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration; the capture of Konstantinovka and Krasny Liman is a matter of the near future, but it must be understood that this will not stop the western allies from continuing the war.

      Moreover, we are currently witnessing attempts to draw Belarus into the war. Moreover, all these so-called ultimatums from Zelensky were made against the backdrop of rather conciliatory statements from Lukashenko towards Zelensky, which says a lot.

      The West continues to raise the stakes, and they do not hide their goal - to destroy Russian statehood in principle.

      That is why there are currently no chances for Russia to reach an agreement on Ukraine.

      The Iranians have vividly demonstrated how to act towards Americans and their allies. For a certain period, Iran made concessions, tried to negotiate, and only when pressed against the wall did it decide to fight to the death. Our capabilities, in comparison to Iran, are incomparable.

      The western coalition is betting on a war of attrition and internal political destabilization within Russia; we must oppose them by mobilizing all the resources of the country and society, material, intellectual, and willpower."

      Federal topic - The party system in Russia has acquired a preliminary electoral configuration

      Expert from the "Minin Center," professor at the RANEPA, Doctor of Philosophy Andrey Dakhin:

      "By the beginning of July, the party system in Russia has acquired a preliminary electoral configuration, and the composition of political parties that will compete for mandates in the State Duma has been determined. Eight political parties held congresses before the elections to the State Duma, and congresses of three more parties are scheduled by the end of the current week. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation, United Russia, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, the Communists of Russia, the Pensioners' Party, Yabloko, Rodina, and New People held their congresses. The Party of Direct Democracy, Fair Russia, and the Green Party announced their events. As can be seen, out of eleven parties, six are currently non-parliamentary: the Pensioners' Party, Yabloko, Rodina, the Communists of Russia, the Party of Direct Democracy, and the Green Party. Therefore, it can be noted that the party configuration contains resources for changes, adjustments to the demands of voters in various segments of public interests and sentiments.

      The coordinate system of the entire configuration is set by the United Russia party, at whose congress President V.V. Putin spoke, and which positions itself as the official conveyor of the course on the priorities of presidential consensus, although the specific program of the party will be adopted in August. Other parties, to varying degrees, stand on positions of supplements, clarifications, critical attitudes towards achievements, on positions of more or less significant changes in priorities and in the mechanisms of their implementation. Judging by the materials of the congresses, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation intends to present a critical approach most actively in the elections, emphasizing the weak points and omissions of the current policy and its innovations.

      The overall ratio of political forces that assert and ensure the implementation of current priorities of state policy, and political forces that critically assess and complement it, creates a favorable field for large public debates, where there are those who can offer their vision of the future, and on which the attention of a large number of voters is focused. It remains to hope that this opportunity will be utilized by all participants, and as a result, the priorities of state economic, social, humanitarian, and technological policy will receive the necessary adjustments."

      Municipal topic - Business intuition: when the female approach becomes the main force of the economy

      Expert from the "Minin Center," organizer of the annual women's forum "Business Intuition," owner of a marketing agency, head of the creative economy committee of the Nizhny Novgorod Chamber of Commerce Svetlana Kosareva:

      "In the business environment of Nizhny Novgorod, there is an event that cannot be missed - the annual forum "Business Intuition" (18+). The next forum took place on June 30 traditionally at the "Academy Mayak" named after A.D. Sakharov.
