      A quarantine for rabies has been introduced in Sergach. This is stated in the governor's decree. Since June 27, the area bounded by Kolkhoznaya, Kommuny, Klenovaya, Budennogo, Engelsa, and Solnechnaya streets has been recognized as an unfavorable point. The apartment of a local resident has been identified as the epizootic focus.

      During the quarantine period, a number of restrictions have been imposed. In particular, outsiders are prohibited from visiting the disease focus.

      Additionally, fairs, exhibitions, and other events related to the gathering and movement of animals are not allowed within the unfavorable point. Their export is restricted, except in cases of sending for slaughter or if vaccination is present within the established timeframe. Furthermore, the capture of wild animals for export to zoos is prohibited.

      It should be noted that a rabies quarantine was previously established in Pervomaysk and the village of Novaya Sloboda in the Bolshie Boldino district.
