      On July 2, 2026, at 18:24, incidents occurred in the Bor urban district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, where investigators are determining the circumstances surrounding the death of a minor child. According to the press service of the regional Investigative Committee, the boy's body was retrieved from a body of water in the village of Ivonkino on July 2. It has been established that at the time of the tragedy, the child was near the water with peers. There were no adults present with the children. Currently, the investigator from the Bor city investigative department is examining the scene of the incident. A forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the exact cause of death. Following the preliminary investigation, a procedural decision will be made.
