Three flights were delayed at the Nizhny Novgorod airport on July 2.

      On July 2, 2026, at 09:14, Society At the "Chkalov" airport in Nizhny Novgorod, temporary restrictions on the acceptance and departure of aircraft have been in effect since night. As reported by "Rosaviatsiya," from 03:00 on July 2, the air harbor has temporarily ceased to accept and release flights. The restrictions have been introduced to ensure flight safety. According to the online scoreboard data of the airport, three flights have been delayed. These concern departures to Yekaterinburg by RedWings airline, to St. Petersburg by SmartAvia airline, and to Moscow by "Rossiya" airline. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights in advance before heading to the airport. It was previously reported that during the night, 30 drones were shot down over the territory of Nizhny Novgorod region.
