Four trains were delayed in the Nizhny Novgorod region due to the derailment of cars in Tatarstan.

According to the GZhD, at 02:50, two cars of a freight train derailed on the Korsha - Arsk stretch. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, and there is no threat to the environment. Movement on the section was temporarily suspended. At 05:19, one track was reopened, but trains are proceeding at reduced speed. Several trains passing through the Nizhny Novgorod region are currently behind schedule. These are trains No. 112 Moscow - Krugloe Pole, No. 96 Moscow - Barnaul, No. 82 Moscow - Ulan-Ude, and No. 52 Nizhny Novgorod - Izhevsk. Two recovery trains are working on-site. Specialists are investigating the causes of the derailment. The Gorky Railway has apologized to passengers for the inconvenience and reported that measures are being taken to return trains to the schedule.
