The Nizhny Novgorod MFC will be connected to the experiment on providing government services abroad.

On July 1, 2026, the Nizhny Novgorod region's MFC will become the operator of a pilot project for providing government services to Russian citizens abroad. This was announced by Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov on his Max channel. The experiment will start on July 1, 2026, and will eventually cover 12 countries: Armenia, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Malaysia, the UAE, Serbia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.

"This means that Russians in the listed countries will be able to receive services similar to those provided by Russian MFCs," noted Yegor Polyakov.

According to him, with the help of an electronic signature, they will be able to certify legally significant documents, and through the unified service "Gosuslugi," it will be possible to open accounts, obtain SIM cards, and receive other services. Yegor Polyakov explained that the experimental legal regime is necessary to test new solutions within the legal framework. The implementation involves Rossotrudnichestvo, Rostec, the Analytical Center, the Foreign Ministry, and TASS. The Nizhny Novgorod MFC has been assigned a separate function - accepting applications for the issuance of SNILS from Russian citizens abroad.

It was previously reported that the Nizhny Novgorod region became a participant in the experiment to implement a new system for evaluating the services of social sphere organizations through the "Gosuslugi" portal.
