About 200 specialists from 19 regions of Russia participated in the event. According to the National Rating of the Investment Climate by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), which is formed annually at the request of the President of Russia, the Nizhny Novgorod region became a leader in the "Engineering networks and communications" category, which assesses the effectiveness of connection procedures to engineering infrastructure, including power grids. Additionally, for the third consecutive year, the region ranks second overall in the National Rating. At the forum, branch specialists presented practices aimed at reducing consumer connection times, improving service quality, and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region. A key factor in effectiveness is the systematic work of "Nizhnevenergo" to improve technological connection processes. An important role is played by established cooperation with government authorities and development institutions. Together with the Corporation for the Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, energy specialists proactively develop electricity supply options for investment sites, assess necessary technical solutions, costs, and connection timelines. This approach allows investors to make informed decisions at the site selection stage, while energy companies can prepare in advance for project implementation. Another important area is the branch's participation in the prospective development of territories. Together with the Agglomeration Development Institute, schemes for electricity supply to comprehensive housing construction sites are being developed before they are put up for auction. This allows for the early identification of optimal solutions for building power grid infrastructure and ensuring the connection of new facilities in the shortest possible time. "High results in the field of technological connection are the result of joint work between energy specialists, government authorities, and development institutions. We strive not only to promptly connect new consumers but also to proactively formulate solutions for future investment projects and comprehensive territorial development. This approach allows for reducing project implementation timelines and creating comfortable conditions for the region's economic development," noted Dmitry Fedorov, director of the branch of PJSC "Rosseti Center and Volga" - "Nizhnevenergo."
