Ex-torpedo player Nikita Artamonov will spend the season on loan at "Severstal".

      Former forward of Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" Nikita Artamonov will spend the upcoming season with "Severstal". The 20-year-old hockey player has joined the team on loan, as reported by the press service of the Cherepovets club. The agreement between "Avtomobilist" and "Severstal" is for one year.

      Recall that on June 25, the forward became a participant in a three-way trade between "Torpedo", "Avtomobilist", and Moscow's "Dynamo". As a result of the deal, Artamonov and defender Andrey Salnikov moved to "Avtomobilist". Defender Sergey Zborovsky went to the Nizhny Novgorod club system and was later traded to Moscow's "Dynamo".

      Now Artamonov will continue his career in Cherepovets under the guidance of Andrey Kozyrev, who was part of the coaching staff of "Torpedo" in the 2022/2023 season. Last season, he played for "Neftekhimik", where he scored three goals and provided six assists in 42 games, totaling nine points.
