One person died in a fire in Nizhny Novgorod: 10 people were rescued from the house.

      June 29, 2026 19:30 Incidents A fire occurred in an apartment building on Mira Boulevard in the Kanavinsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations. The open flames were extinguished at 18:34. The area of the fire was 35 square meters. The fire spread within one of the apartments. Nine units of equipment and 33 personnel from the emergency service were involved in the firefighting efforts. As a result of the incident, one person died, and their identity is currently being established. Rescuers managed to evacuate 10 people from the building, including one child. Another 45 residents left the building on their own before the arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units. Currently, investigators are working at the scene.
