Albert Loginov joined the coaching staff of Nizhny Novgorod's Torpedo.
Albert Loginov has joined the coaching staff of "Torpedo." He will be responsible for the training of defense players at the club. It is worth noting that this position was previously held by Igor Ulanov. As a hockey player, Loginov became a bronze medalist of the International Hockey League in 1996 and also won bronze in the Continental Cup in 1999. He began his coaching career in 2006. During this time, he worked at "Izhstal" from Izhevsk, "Molot-Prikamye," and since 2021, at Perm's "Molot." Additionally, his resume includes MHC "Chelny," "Zauralie" from Kurgan, "Severstal" (Cherepovets), "Metallurg" (Novokuznetsk), "Buran" (Voronezh), and "Diesel" (Penza). Together with the club from Perm, Loginov became a bronze medalist in the VHL championship. While leading "Zauralie," he took the team to the semifinals of the "Petrov Cup." The general director of "Torpedo," Evgeny Zabuga, noted that the invitation of the coach was largely based on the position of the team's head coach Alexey Isakov, who represented the structure of the updated staff and the division of responsibilities among the assistants.
"Albert Leonidovich is an experienced specialist who, in addition to hockey practice, is deeply immersed in theory, works a lot on video analysis, and continues to develop. We are confident that the coaching staff will successfully accomplish the tasks set," Zabuga noted.
