The second Center for Healthy Longevity Medicine has opened in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

On June 29, 2026, 18:02 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the second Center for Healthy Longevity Medicine has begun operations. It opened based on the City Polyclinic No. 4 of the Kanavinsky District. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Health. The Centers for Healthy Longevity Medicine represent a modern direction in preventive medicine, based on scientific data about the aging processes. Here, patients undergo a comprehensive assessment of their body's reserves, determine biological age, and form personalized recommendations for maintaining health and an active life. The work of the centers contributes to the implementation of the national project "Long and Active Life." The center officially opened on June 26 as part of the "Evening of Health" project, which allows for health check-ups and screenings after working hours. On the opening day, it was visited by 15 people, and more than 50 residents of the region participated in the event. According to the chief physician of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, Natalia Savitskaya, modern medicine allows not only to document age-related changes but also to influence them, slowing down the aging processes and extending the period of active life. The center has a multidisciplinary team—doctors, nurses, administrators, and physiotherapy specialists—which allows for accompanying the patient at all stages and starting some procedures on the day of the visit. The first stage includes bioimpedance analysis, assessment of vascular stiffness, measurement of muscle strength and anthropometric indicators, functional tests, and calculation of biological age. Patients also fill out an extensive questionnaire with nearly 200 questions about sleep, nutrition, physical activity, stress, and cognitive functions. If necessary, in-depth diagnostics of aging mechanisms are conducted. Based on the results, a personal "Health Passport" is issued, and an individual route is formed, which may include physiotherapy, light and magnetic therapy, therapeutic exercise, stress relief office, relaxation area, salt cave, acupuncture, and other procedures. The chief physician of Polyclinic No. 4, Inna Pudova, emphasized that the key task of the center is to identify pre-risks of aging and the development of chronic diseases at a stage when a person still considers themselves healthy. The comprehensive examination takes about one and a half to two hours and may be supplemented with further dispensary observation if necessary. All residents of the region over 18 years old can contact the center, regardless of their attachment to a specific polyclinic. Registration is available through the institution's contact center, with an administrator, or at the nursing station. The center is located at: Nizhny Novgorod, Priokskaia Street, 4. It should be noted that the first center started operating in Polyclinic No. 7 in Nizhny Novgorod in April 2026. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
