The furniture company joined the federal project "Labor Productivity."

      June 29, 2026 17:05 Economy LLC "Furniture Language" from Nizhny Novgorod has become the 324th participant in the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy" in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Experts from the regional competence center (RCC) will implement lean production tools at the enterprise. The company produces case and office furniture, metal structures, and metal frames, as well as performs powder coating. "The implementation of lean technologies allows for increasing work efficiency and finding internal reserves for production development. The enterprise 'Furniture Language' has become the ninth company in the industry in the Nizhny Novgorod region to join the federal project 'Labor Productivity'. A number of furniture companies in the region have already completed the full cycle of participation in the project, increasing output on pilot lines by at least 10 percent," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Over six months, RCC experts, together with the company's working group, will conduct an audit, select a pilot site, and develop a set of solutions that will help increase output. Employees of the enterprise will also be trained in the basics of lean production. To become a participant in the federal project "Labor Productivity," one must submit an application on the IT platform: productivity.rf. From 2019 to 2024, such support measures were implemented within the framework of the national project "Labor Productivity," and from 2025, within the framework of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."
