20 Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren from "Artek" were sent home by train.
On June 27, 2026, at 10:29 AM, Culture and Recreation: 20 schoolchildren from Nizhny Novgorod, who were resting in "Artek," are returning home in an organized manner. The train with the children departed from Anapa on the evening of June 26, and they will arrive in Nizhny Novgorod on June 28. This was reported by the regional Minister of Education, Mikhail Puchkov, on his Max channel.
According to him, a total of 29 children entered "Artek" under the regional quota for the shift, while another six children were resting on commercial and thematic vouchers.
As a result, 14 schoolchildren, by their parents' decision, continued their vacation in a camp in the Krasnodar region, one child was handed over to relatives, and 20 are returning in an organized manner under the supervision of "Vega" center staff. The minister specified that the children are traveling in one carriage and are provided with hot meals.
It was previously reported that in Crimea, the acceptance and accommodation of children in summer camps is suspended until September 1. The corresponding decision was signed by the head of the republic, Sergey Aksyonov, on June 22, emphasizing that the measure is aimed at ensuring public safety.
