More than 1000 people attended the concerts of the musical project "Youth Assemblies."

      A total of 78 concert numbers were performed in the project's programs. More than 1000 people in the cities and districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region attended concerts by young Nizhny Novgorod soloists as part of the musical project "Youth Assemblies-2026," and just as many watched the project's gala concert online. The founder and organizer of the project is the Chamber Orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod." This was reported by the city’s Department of Culture. Culture department specialists emphasized that "Youth Assemblies" is a unique competition-festival for the Nizhny Novgorod region, where musically gifted children from different cities of the region perform on the same stage with a professional orchestra. "Youth Assemblies" annually presents a new generation of talented performing musicians to the public. This year, the project took place with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and gathered a record number of participants and spectators, and for the first time, the project's concerts were held not only in Nizhny Novgorod but also in four major cities of the region — Dzerzhinsk, Arzamas, Vyksa, and Pavlovo," noted the culture department. For the right to perform with the orchestra as soloists in the competitive stage of the project, 113 talented young musicians from music schools, art schools, and music colleges in the Nizhny Novgorod region competed. Many of these kids have awards from various regional and even international competitions, and some are multiple prize winners of the "Youth Assemblies." The finalists of the 2026 project included 84 performers aged 7 to 22 from 9 cities, 2 towns, and 1 village, students from 28 schools and students from 4 music colleges in the Nizhny Novgorod region. "Youth Assemblies" is a musical project created specifically for young musicians. Every year it gathers dozens of talented kids from our region. We are proud of our soloists! Many of them have grown up in this project and have become outstanding professionals. This is a great motivation for the orchestra's work and the continuation of the glorious history of the project," said the artistic director of the Chamber Orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod," Vladimir Plaksin. All 84 winners performed with the Chamber Orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod" on stages in the city and region. The grand concert marathon of the project began in the hall of the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory named after M. I. Glinka on April 19. In addition to the two traditional concerts of the project in Nizhny Novgorod, another special concert for the wards of the Center for Social Development of the Nizhny Novgorod region took place on Children's Day. On June 9, the final concert of the musical project was held in the concert hall of the Palace of Culture in the city of Pavlovo. The main concert of the project could be viewed from anywhere in the world via live streaming on the official website and pages of the Chamber Orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod."

      In total, 78 concert numbers from various works or their parts for violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, domra, balalaika, piano, and vocals were performed in the project's programs, many of which are part of the treasure trove of the world concert repertoire.
