45 Nizhny Novgorod residents will receive honorary titles.

      The deputies of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma approved the awarding of the honorary title of "Honored Worker" to 45 representatives from nine socially significant professions. The Duma meeting took place on June 24. The honorary titles will be awarded to representatives of nine socially significant professions for their special merits in professional activities aimed at the welfare of the city's residents, as well as for their significant contribution to ensuring the well-being and prosperity of Nizhny Novgorod. The grounds for the award include a relevant work experience of at least 10 years, as well as the presence of merits and achievements in the field of professional activity. The honorary title may also be awarded for acts of heroism in the territory of Nizhny Novgorod and the courage, bravery, and valor demonstrated in performing such acts. Each year, the honorary title is awarded to no more than five candidates in each category. This year, the honorary titles were awarded to the following residents of Nizhny Novgorod:
