Investigators are determining the circumstances of the death of a Nizhny Novgorod resident in the river in Diveevo.

      June 25, 2026 18:02 Incidents Investigators are conducting an inquiry into the death of a 27-year-old resident of the village of Diveevo. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to preliminary information, the man drowned in the Vichkinza River. During the examination, investigators did not find any visible bodily injuries of a criminal nature. A forensic medical examination has been appointed to establish the exact cause of death. Currently, employees of the regional investigative department continue to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the inquiry, a procedural decision will be made. It was previously reported that the Investigative Committee is conducting an inquiry into the death of a 30-year-old resident of Semyonov who drifted away on a raft in the Vetluga River.
