The main topics were demographics, education, youth support, and social protection. As the head of the region emphasized, these areas remain the most significant and sensitive in the joint work of the Church and the state. Special attention was given to the development of Orthodox education. Today, Nizhny Novgorod Region ranks first in Russia in the number of students in Orthodox gymnasiums—every sixth gymnasium student in the country studies in the region.

      One of the main topics of discussion was the demographic situation.

      "Without exaggeration, one of the key issues of national security remains demographics, and it can only be addressed together—by the Church and the state," the head of the region wrote in his MAX channel.

      It should be noted that a number of initiatives aimed at strengthening the institution of the family, preventing abortions, and supporting women in crisis situations have already been developed and implemented in Nizhny Novgorod Region. Thus, Nizhny Novgorod families can receive up to 1 million rubles upon the birth or adoption of a child, taking into account the federal maternity capital and the regional parental income "Osnova." There is also a program called "Gift for the Newborn": parents receive an electronic certificate for 20,000 rubles to purchase children's products from local manufacturers on the marketplace.
