On June 25, 2026, at 14:27, Society On June 25, within the framework of the XIII Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin, visited the China-Belarus Industrial Park "Great Stone." There, the speaker toured the demonstration halls of the innovation center created for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the development of international cooperation. The "Great Stone" industrial park is located 25 kilometers from Minsk. Its total area is 117.6 square kilometers. According to the company's employees, a special legal regime for doing business has been established here: unprecedented tax benefits for residents, including a zero profit tax rate for ten years, exemption from customs duties and VAT on imported equipment, as well as land tax and property tax being eliminated until 2062. During the meeting, it was noted that as of today, 174 residents from 16 countries are registered in the park. Key areas of activity include machine engineering, electronics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, logistics, and scientific research. The territory operates a comprehensive business service system based on the "one-stop" principle, allowing all administrative issues to be resolved in one place. Special attention in the "Great Stone" is paid to creating a full-fledged urban environment. Residential quarters, social facilities are being built, and transport infrastructure is being developed. During the tour of the park, it was emphasized that by 2060, more than 100,000 people will live on its territory. The implementation of the high-speed railway project from Minsk to the National Airport, with a stop at the park, is now beginning, and the construction of a second residential building for employees of enterprises is underway. Moreover, the "Great Stone" is becoming a center of attraction for foreign partners. In June 2026, delegations from Dalian Polytechnic University, the Export-Import Bank of China, and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation visited the park. The parties discussed the prospects for scientific research, personnel training, and investment cooperation, confirming the high status of the site and its significance for international business. The speaker of the regional parliament, Evgeny Lyulin, emphasized that getting acquainted with the experience of the "Great Stone"—one of the largest projects of bilateral cooperation between Belarus and China—opens new opportunities for applying best practices in the development of investment and industrial policy in the Nizhny Novgorod region. "The 'Great Stone' industrial park is a true city of the future. Unique conditions for business have been created here: tax benefits, ready infrastructure. We have much to learn from our Belarusian and Chinese colleagues regarding attracting investments and creating a comfortable environment for entrepreneurs. I am convinced that the experience of the 'Great Stone' will be useful in implementing investment projects in the Nizhny Novgorod region. We see how a competent combination of business preferences and urban infrastructure development can turn an industrial zone into a point of economic growth," noted the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin.
