Nizhny Novgorod residents were informed about the progress of the project for the duplicate of Rodionov Street.

      June 24, 2026 14:31 Society Specialists have begun preparing documents for the construction of the duplicate of Rodionova Street. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from the MBU "Nizhegorodgrazhdanproekt."

      Recall that the first information about the possible construction of the duplicate of Rodionova appeared more than three years ago. For example, in April 2023, the regional Mingrad issued a permit for the development of the project and for conducting planning and land surveying works.

      It is planned that the road will run from Gorky Street to Brinsky Street along the Kova River in the Nizhny Novgorod and Soviet districts. The preparation of documentation for the planning of this area has now begun, during which the boundaries of the route will be determined and plots for construction will be formed.

      In cooperation with the Department of Transport and Road Management of the city administration, specialists are working on the route along which the road will pass, its main technical characteristics, and the placement of construction sites.

      In addition, discussions are underway regarding the need for land acquisition, as well as decisions on vertical planning and engineering preparation of the area.

      The construction timelines are still unknown; they will only be determined after the Mingrad approves all necessary documentation. At that time, the question of sources and volumes of project financing will also be raised.
