      June 23, 2026 08:00 Economy More than 5 million rubles have been allocated for the current repair of the upper working gates of the lower hydraulic structure. This is reported on the state procurement website. The customer is the Gorodetsky District of hydraulic structures and navigation - a branch of the Federal Budget Institution "Administration of the Volga Basin of Internal Waterways." The work will be financed from the organization's own funds. The contractor will have to perform anti-corrosion protection of the metal structures of the gates. The scope of work includes the installation and dismantling of scaffolding, sandblasting of the surface, dust removal, degreasing, and subsequent painting of the metal with epoxy enamel. An examination of the estimate documentation is also provided. Applications for participation in the procurement are accepted until June 30, 2026, and the results will be announced on July 1. The contract will be valid from the moment of signing until September 17, 2026. It should be noted that the modernization of the Gorodetsky hydraulic structure is currently ongoing. As of the end of April, the project's readiness reached 75%. Work is being carried out without stopping navigation. It is expected that after the reconstruction is completed, the throughput capacity of the hydraulic structure will increase from 3.6 million to 20 million tons of cargo per year.
