      June 22, 2026 12:58 Society The Volga brand commented on the situation regarding the unsuccessful purchase of a K40 car in Nizhny Novgorod. A customer was unable to pick up the car from the dealership allegedly due to technical malfunctions. This was reported by Auto Mail.ru.

      Recall that the sales of the revived Volga brand started in Russia on June 19. According to the company, about 25-30 dealer centers have been opened in the country, including in Nizhny Novgorod.

      The day before, a video circulated on the internet featuring one of the first buyers of the Volga K40. She stated that after making a down payment and arranging an auto loan, she received the car and even drove it out of the dealership.

      Later, according to her, the young woman was asked to return to sign documents. At the dealership, as claimed by the customer, they informed her of a technical malfunction and the postponement of the car's delivery to the following week.

      Brand representatives stated that the car is in working condition and ready for delivery in the near future. According to their version, the delay is related to the processing procedure of the credit deal.

      The company emphasized that the dealer center is in contact with the customer, and as compensation, she was offered the first technical service for free.
