      On June 22, 2026, at 12:25, Incidents: Three tragedies occurred at water bodies in the Nizhny Novgorod region from June 15 to June 21. Over the week, three people drowned, reports the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region. A total of 25 incidents have been registered at Nizhny Novgorod water bodies in 2026, resulting in the deaths of 19 people, including two children. Since the beginning of the swimming season, there have been four cases in the region—two people died, and two others were rescued.
