It was previously reported that the admission and placement of children in summer camps in Crimea has been suspended until September 1. This decision was signed on June 22 by the head of the republic, Sergey Aksyonov, who explained that the measure is aimed at ensuring public safety. Currently, the planned evacuation of the children to their permanent places of residence has already begun. The Minister of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Mikhail Puchkov, stated that he is personally monitoring the situation. According to him, 29 people were supposed to be included in this shift according to the regional quota.
"There are also escorts currently in 'Artek', they will ensure the centralized transportation of the children back so that everything goes smoothly. Thanks to our 'Vega' center for their coordinated work," noted Puchkov.
The Ministry of Education of Russia has already promised that all children whose vacations were interrupted will be offered decent alternative options for a change of scenery in other regions of the country.
