Children played "Safe Internet" at the Governor's Cup in equestrian sports in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On June 17, 2026, at 15:22, the company "Rostelecom" became a partner of the Governor's Cup in equestrian sports, which took place from June 9 to 14 at the "Passage" equestrian complex in Nizhny Novgorod. On the final day of the competition, the company organized interactive cybersecurity contests for young guests. More than 200 children had the opportunity to see the game "Safe Internet" on a large scale and become its main characters.

      Especially for the celebration, "Rostelecom" created an analog of the eponymous board game in the thematic area, scaling the game space to the size of the venue itself. At different game levels, the kids helped the main character, Antivirus, save the Global Network from threats. Moving across the game board, they found and neutralized intruders, protected user data, fought against computer viruses, and restored network functionality.

      "Many schoolchildren are already familiar with the board game 'Safe Internet,' which 'Rostelecom' distributes in schools and libraries. The company actively develops gaming formats for teaching digital literacy and regularly holds thematic tournaments. At the Governor's Cup, participants literally found themselves inside the game. Each move on the game board fueled interest in the next challenges, and the desire to score more points and reach the finish line made the kids remember the rules of cybersecurity. When a child becomes part of the game process, the knowledge is absorbed much better."

      The Governor's Cup of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in equestrian sports became the 20th anniversary event. Riders from 10 regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus participated in the competition. The program included international dressage competitions, a stage of the Russian Cup, and all-Russian starts involving children on ponies.

      For the guests of the celebration, relaxation areas were organized, creative workshops were held, and horse riding was available.
