The widow of the Vyborg deputy Petrov reacted to the detention of businessman Traber.

      On June 17, 2026, at 15:27, an incident occurred in St. Petersburg that shocked the public: the well-known businessman and billionaire Ilya Traber was detained. FSB officers arrived at his and his partner Vladimir Danilenko's homes and offices, where searches were conducted. It is assumed that they will be transported to Moscow for questioning and judicial proceedings.

      According to media reports, law enforcement suspects Traber and Danilenko of involvement in the high-profile murder case of Alexander Petrov, a deputy and influential entrepreneur who was referred to as the "master of Vyborg."

      At this moment, there is no official confirmation of the businessmen's detention. Correspondents from "KP-Petersburg" attempted to contact Alexander Petrov's widow for comments, but she declined to speak on the subject.

      "I heard about this, I read it in the news. But understand, the investigators told me nothing about this. So I am not commenting," she told reporters.

      Alexander Petrov's son, Vitaly, also could not immediately comment on the situation, promising to return to the conversation later.
