A section on best practices has been launched on the region's investment portal.
The investment portal of the Nizhny Novgorod region has launched a section with the best practices for investment development in the region. It features management solutions posted on the federal platform "Smartika" and evaluated by experts. The practices aim to enhance the investment climate, implement digital project management tools, improve inter-agency cooperation, simplify administrative procedures, including connections to engineering networks, and attract investments to municipalities through the development of investment profiles. Each practice includes a description, implementation procedures and results, information on necessary resources, and involved organizations.
The digital platform "Smartika," developed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, is designed for replicating and scaling the best solutions and contributes to achieving the goals of national projects. More than 40 practices from the Nizhny Novgorod region across various areas are available on the platform.
The investment portal is overseen by the Regional Development Corporation. "The investment team of the Nizhny Novgorod region is constantly seeking new solutions for working with investors. We are happy to share our accumulated experience; the region's practices are in significant demand from colleagues. The new section on the investment portal will make them even more accessible," said Igor Ishchenko, General Director of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation.
On the portal, investors can obtain information about the region and municipalities, available infrastructure and support measures, submit applications for land selection and project support, and familiarize themselves with investment proposals and elements of the regional investment standard. The investment map features over 600 territories available for investment. Additionally, a survey module is operational, allowing the assessment of the regulatory environment, the functioning of institutions for business, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation was established at the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. Supporting investment activity is one of the tasks of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."
