The Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Voskresensky Municipal District has started operations in a completely renovated building located at: Voskresenskoye, Pushkin Street, 65, room 1. As reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the building for the institution was provided by the municipal administration. More than 11.8 million rubles from the regional budget were allocated for repair work, updating the entrance group, purchasing furniture, equipment, and computer technology. The Minister of Social Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Igor Sedykh, noted that creating comfortable conditions for the work of social institutions affects the quality and speed of services provided to residents. According to him, the modernization of the department has improved working conditions for employees and made the process of obtaining social services more convenient for citizens. Work on updating social institutions in the region will continue. The head of the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Voskresensky Municipal District, Alla Gerasimova, reported that after the move, the organization of work processes has changed. Previously, up to six employees were in one room along with the filing cabinet, but now no more than three specialists work in the offices. Separate rooms for the filing cabinet and archive have been equipped for document storage, which has allowed for the systematization of materials and increased the efficiency of processing requests. The premises are designed in a unified style, with thoughtful planning and bright offices. The entrance group has been adapted to meet the needs of people with limited mobility. The modernization of social infrastructure and the increase in the availability of services for families with children align with the goals of the national project "Family." The national project started in 2025 at the request of Russian President Vladimir Putin and became the successor to the previously active national projects "Demography" and "Culture." It provides for the expansion of support measures for families, the creation of conditions for active longevity of the older generation, and the provision of accessible medical care.
