The former Old Believer school in Gorodets has been put up for auction.

      On June 16, 2026, at 15:49 Culture and Leisure In the Gorodets district, a non-residential building of the former Old Believer school with a pedagogical museum has been put up for auction. The starting price of the property is 3.53 million rubles, according to the lot card. The district administration plans to sell the building with an area of 524 square meters along with a land plot of 1,400 square meters. The property is located at 2 Paris Commune Street. The building was constructed with funds from merchant Bugrov in the early 20th century. At different times, it housed an Old Believer school, an elementary school, and a pedagogical college. In the 1980s, it became a multi-apartment residential building. Later, the residential building was recognized as emergency and subject to demolition, which led to its residents being relocated. However, the building cannot be demolished as it has the characteristics of a cultural heritage site. The auction is scheduled for July 10. The auction step is 176,471.37 rubles.
