      June 15, 2026 12:40 Society The Social Fund of Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region has recalculated and transferred the unified allowance to 324 large families in the region, who were previously denied payment due to exceeding income limits. The review became possible after changes to the rules for assigning the unified allowance, which came into effect on May 22. Now, when extending payments, large families retain the right to the allowance if their per capita income exceeds the established threshold by no more than 10%. All decisions were reviewed automatically. Families that meet the new conditions were granted the allowance without submitting additional applications. Notifications about the review began arriving in personal accounts on the "Gosuslugi" portal at the end of May. Large parents have been assigned an allowance of 50% of the regional minimum living wage per child. In 2026, this amount is 8,634.5 rubles for each child.
