Five people were rescued from a fire at the Pavlovsk Central District Hospital.

      On June 15, 2026, at 11:20 AM, an incident occurred. A fire at the Pavlovsk Central District Hospital happened early in the morning on June 15, the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The fire broke out in the medical facility on 8 Marta Street. The cause was a short circuit in a refrigerator in the laboratory office, which subsequently caught fire. The fire spread over five square meters. Thirty emergency service employees and eight units of equipment participated in its extinguishment. Thanks to special masks, five people were saved, and another seven were evacuated. No one was injured. Earlier, we reported that mortality from fires is increasing in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
