The daily catch limit is 5 kg. Responsibility for violations: under part 2 of Article 8.37 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation — a fine from 2,000 to 5,000 rubles with confiscation of fishing gear; under Article 256 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal extraction of aquatic biological resources) — a fine of up to 500,000 rubles or imprisonment for up to 2 years.
